Jennifer Reynolds, Master Certified Health Coach

Welcome! My name is Jennifer Reynolds and my passion in life is to help others help another. I focus on wellness where it starts: in the brain. This has been a lifelong journey for me and I am always learning and growing!. My daily brain work impacts how I eat and how I move, my routines, my everything. When we think about how our daily attitude impacts our habits and lifestyle, we can strive for a growth mindset. My personal belief and the most recent current research show our brains can be repaired and new connections can be formed. My life has not been easy and to be honest, there are always setbacks.

For the last 18 years, I’ve been working with families of all kinds during pregnancy, infancy, and toddlerhood, collaborating with community partners, and providing coaching and advocating for socio-economic and cultural equity for those who may not be introduced to coaching otherwise. I am skilled in Motivational Interviewing, Non-Violent Communication, and Appreciative Inquiry techniques as a practitioner. I currently provide parenting support, developmental guidance, crisis care, prevention of abuse/neglect and opportunities for playfulness, storytelling, and helping clients design a different future.

I graduated from Urbana University with my BS in Human Services Leadership and from Wright State University with my Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling for Severe Disabilities. I also have postgraduate work from the University of Connecticut (Early Intervention). I became interested in coaching from on-the-job training in coaching, teaming, and collaboration. For 6 months, I received feedback on my coaching from the designers of the coaching model. I then found Dr. Sears Wellness Institute and participated in LEAN Start, pregnancy, families and adults and seniors certifications. I went on to the advanced coaching course at Dr. Sears Wellness Institute and earned my Master Health Coach certification. I then pursued and earned National Board Certification (NBC-HWC) in December 2018. I am also an Ohio Infant Mental Health Practitioner-III (OIMHP-III) and Trauma-Informed Competent-III (TIC-III) provider.
